Product Description
This kit makes removing and fitting the bonnet of your Morgan 3 Wheeler easier. The springs push the fasteners outwards, away from the receptacles, when unlocked.
The kit comprises four conical springs and four plastic cup washers, as well as four retaining rings. This fits discretely under the heads of the bonnet fasteners, replacing the existing plastic washer.

The springs are a great idea & ideal for holding the Dzus fasteners away from the bonnet whilst removing & replacing. No more faffing with wooden pegs or having a willing assistant to avoid scratching the paint! Fitting is relatively straightforward, and reasonably obvious, but a small exploded diagram with the envelope would be advantageous, please. The hardest part is getting the tiny wire under the fasteners off the body of the fastener without either losing them or breaking them. I did & used a thin strip of duct tape to stop the inner black washer from dropping off. Overall, a nice positive addition making it far easier to remove the bonnet without worry, so well done G56. Only dropped a mark due to the diagram issue, but don’t let that put anyone off from buying them. They simply work!

Thanks for the feedback, we’ll look at the diagram idea, I’m sure we can do something.
We are already working on an alternative to those wire clips!
Chris Golding – :
A simple but effective solution.
If you can sort out the wire circle clip it’ll be a full 5 stars!

I ordered two packs of these so I could fit them to the boot lid also. The catches on my boot lid have never been a positive fit and I have worried that they may come undone with vibration on a run.
I have now fitted all the catches on the bonnet and two on the boot. What a difference with the spring tension on the catches there is now a definite feel that the catches are now secure. Under the sprung tensioning and extra washer. It is now far easier to remove and refit the bonnet.
A great little product.
